This new Mitsubishi Materials DIAEDGE VBMT110302-LS (ANSI VBMT220.5LS) is a 35° diamond positive-rake turning insert in grade MP9025, a PVD-coated carbide grade, supplied as a box of 10 inserts. The ISO code decodes to a V-shape 35° insert with 5° clearance, M tolerance, a cylindrical center hole with single-sided chipbreaker, 11 mm cutting edge length, 3.18 mm thickness and 0.2 mm nose radius, and the LS chipbreaker is designed for finishing at low feed rates. The box label marks the ISO S application range (heat-resistant alloys and titanium) with recommended cutting speed of 30-45 m/min (100-150 SFM) and feed of 0.04-0.14 mm/rev (0.002-0.006 IPR). Made in Japan; suited to profiling and finish turning on toolholders accepting VB..11 inserts with a center-hole clamp.
