This is a factory-new, sealed box of 10 Mitsubishi Materials VNMG160408-MA (inch equivalent: VNMG332MA) carbide turning inserts in grade UE6105, carrying EDP 00484295 and sold under the Dia-Edge brand lineup. The VNMG ISO designation decodes as follows: V = 35° diamond (rhombic) shape, N = 0° clearance angle, M = ±0.05/±0.08 mm tolerance class, G = with hole and chip groove both sides, 16 = 9.525 mm (3/8 in) inscribed circle, 04 = 4.76 mm thickness, 08 = 0.8 mm nose radius; the MA chipbreaker geometry is optimized for medium-depth finishing and semi-finishing of steel. UE6105 is a CVD-coated cemented carbide grade featuring a TiCN/Al₂O₃ multilayer PVD/CVD composite coating engineered for ISO P-class steel cutting; the gold (TiN topcoat) surface is clearly visible in the photos. Recommended cutting data per the package label are vc = 205–375 m/min (670–1230 SFM) and feed f = 0.20–0.50 mm/rev (0.008–0.020 IPR) in steel (P).
