This Mitsubishi Materials DIAEDGE WNMG080404-MP (ANSI WNMG431MP) is a negative-rake trigon turning insert in grade MC6025, a coated carbide grade, with a gold finish and the MP double-sided chipbreaker for medium machining. The WNMG designation means an 80° trigon shape, 0° clearance, M tolerance and a cylindrical hole with a double-sided chipbreaker. It has a 1/2 in inscribed circle, 4.76 mm (3/16 in) thickness and 0.4 mm (1/64 in) nose radius, with up to 6 cutting edges across both sides. MC6025 is designated for ISO P steel turning, with a recommended speed range of 200-325 m/min (655-1065 SFM) and feed of 0.11-0.28 mm/rev (0.004-0.011 IPR). It fits standard WN-style negative-insert turning toolholders and is a new, unused pack of 10 made in Japan.
