The Mitutoyo 137-214 is an 11-piece tubular inside micrometer set with a measuring range of 2" to 40", confirmed by the label on the case reading '2-40" EXT RODS 11/PC MITUTOYO MICROMETER ACCY' and the Mitutoyo part number 137-214. The set uses the IMZ-40 extension rod system, as noted on the case label, and consists of a micrometer head plus multiple extension rods and half-round contact points that thread together to achieve the full 40-inch range in successive 2-inch increments.
