Mitutoyo 141-233 2-12in 0.001in Mechanical Inside Micrometer Set

The Mitutoyo 141-233 (IMS-12R) is a new mechanical inside micrometer set covering a measurement range of 2 to 12 inches in a single kit using interchangeable extension rods. The set includes a micrometer head with 0.001 in graduation and friction thimble for consistent measuring force, a base rod, five extension rods of graduated lengths, a spacing collar, a centering head/cone, two open-end spanner wrenches, and a hex key — all seated in a molded plastic carrying case. The micrometer head threads onto each extension rod to build up to the required depth, making the set suitable for measuring bores, cylinders, and internal diameters in engine rebuilding, tool rooms, and inspection departments. All components are hardened steel with a black-oxide finish on the extension rods for corrosion resistance, and the kit ships complete in the original Mitutoyo blow-molded case as confirmed by the factory label (141-233 / IMS-12R) visible on the box.
