The Mitutoyo 209-936 is a new, IP67-rated electronic digital caliper gauge designed for internal groove and bore measurement, with a measuring range of 10–30 mm (0.39–1.18 in) and a resolution of 0.01 mm (0.0005 in). The instrument uses a ball/ball contact tip configuration with a 1.0 mm (0.0394 in) tip diameter and leg length of 85.1 mm (3.3465 in), and is capable of measuring groove widths starting at 1.2 mm (0.0472 in) at a maximum groove depth of 5.2 mm (0.2047 in). The digital display features an analog dial simulation with digital readout, MODE/TOL/DATA/OK-SET controls, and a DATA output port for SPC data collection via Mitutoyo's Digimatic interface, compatible with Mitutoyo data processors and SPC systems. Accuracy is ±0.03 mm (0.0015 in) per the included factory certificate of quality (traceable calibration chart confirmed in photos), and the unit is powered by a single AA battery. Manufactured in the Czech Republic by Mitutoyo Europe GmbH and CE/UKCA marked, this gauge ships with the calibration certificate, multilingual instruction manual, and battery screwdriver.
