Mitutoyo 293-181-40 QuantuMike 1-2in 0.00005in Digital Outside Micrometer

The Mitutoyo 293-181-40 QuantuMike is a new, IP65-rated digital outside micrometer covering a 1–2 inch (25–50 mm) measurement range, featuring Mitutoyo's proprietary electromagnetic induction absolute encoder that eliminates the need for origin reset after power-on. Resolution is 0.00005 inch / 0.001 mm with a rated accuracy of ±0.0001 inch (±0.002 mm), and the high-speed thimble advances at 10 mm per revolution — twice the rate of conventional micrometers — enabling faster measurement cycles on the shop floor. The frame incorporates a heat-insulating resin grip to minimize thermal error from hand contact, and the carbide-tipped measuring faces provide long-term wear resistance. Output is displayed on a large LCD and the unit is compatible with Mitutoyo's SPC data output port for direct connection to the U-WAVE-T wireless transmitter or Digimatic data processors. Supplied new in the original Mitutoyo plastic case with a 1-inch setting standard, spanner wrench, and documentation.
