The Mitutoyo 293-340-32 is a Digimatic MDC-1" PX outside micrometer with a 0–1 in (0–25.4 mm) measuring range, displaying in both inch (0.00005 in resolution) and metric (0.001 mm resolution) modes via a large LCD. The frame carries an IP65 coolant-proof rating, confirmed by the "IP65 Coolant Proof" marking visible on the frame in the photos, making it suitable for wet machining environments where coolant, chips, and cutting oils are present. The back plate, visible in the third photo, shows catalog number 293-340-32, "Battery SR44," and "Made in Japan," confirming authentic Mitutoyo manufacture; the unit uses a standard SR44 silver-oxide button cell.
