Mitutoyo 422-331-32 1-2in 0.00005in Digital Blade Outside Micrometer

The Mitutoyo 422-331-32 is a new, Japanese-manufactured Series 422 digital blade outside micrometer (model BLM-2"MX) with a 1–2 inch (25.4–51 mm) measuring range, designed specifically for measuring narrow grooves, keyways, and thin workpiece features inaccessible to standard anvil micrometers. The blade-style anvil and spindle faces allow insertion into restricted spaces where conventional flat-face micrometers cannot reach. Resolution is 0.00005 in / 0.001 mm with a guaranteed accuracy of ±0.000150 in, and the LCD display switches between inch and metric modes via the in/mm button; ORIGIN, ZERO/ABS, and HOLD functions are provided on the front panel. The unit features IP54 sealing (confirmed by the "MX" suffix in the model designation) for protection against coolant splash and dust ingress, and incorporates a ratchet thimble for consistent measuring force. The instrument ships with a Mitutoyo SR44SW (1.55 V) silver-oxide battery, a standard gage for zero adjustment, a hard plastic carrying case with foam insert, and instruction sheet No. 99MAB038M4; data output capability is built in for connection to Mitutoyo's SPC data collection systems.
