Mitutoyo 422-371-32 0-1in 0.00005in Digimatic Blade Micrometer

The Mitutoyo 422-371-32 is a new Digimatic (digital) blade-type outside micrometer with a 0–1 in (0–25.4 mm) measuring range, featuring thin blade-form anvil and spindle contacts (approx. 4 mm wide, 0.4 mm thick) designed to access narrow slots, keyways, grooves, and recessed features that standard flat-face micrometers cannot reach. Resolution is 0.00005 in / 0.001 mm, selectable via the in/mm button, with an accuracy of ±0.0001 in (±0.002 mm); the large LCD display shows absolute (ABS) and incremental (INC) measurement modes, and the ORIGIN/ZERO/ABS and HOLD buttons are visible on the unit face in the photos. The frame is constructed of hardened stainless steel with a heat-insulating thimble and features a friction thimble (ratchet stop) for consistent measuring force; the unit is powered by one SR44 silver-oxide button cell battery (included) and is Made in Japan, as confirmed by the back-label photo (C/N 422-371-32, BATTERY SR44, MADE IN JAPAN).
