Mitutoyo 552-161-10 600mm/24in 0.01mm IP66 Digital Caliper

The Mitutoyo 552-161-10 is a large-range ABSOLUTE digital caliper with a 0–600 mm (0–24 in) measuring range, constructed with carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) jaws and beam to reduce weight and thermal expansion error over long spans. It uses Mitutoyo's ABSOLUTE electromagnetic induction linear encoder, which retains origin position without requiring a zero-reset after power-off, and outputs measurement data via the SPC data port for integration with Mitutoyo's U-WAVE, Digimatic MUX, or other SPC-compatible data collection systems. Accuracy is ±0.06 mm (±0.0025 in) with a resolution of 0.01 mm / 0.0005 in, and the unit carries an IP66 rating for protection against high-pressure water jets and heavy dust ingress — suitable for use at or near CNC machine tools and wet grinding operations.
