Monster 36XF78 15/32in AlTiN Carbide Twist Drill Bit

The Monster Tool (GWS Tool Group) 36XF78 is a new 15/32 in solid carbide twist drill bit with an AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating, as confirmed directly by the label reading '15/32 CARB TWIST DRILL AITIN.' AlTiN coating provides a hardness of approximately 3,300 HV and oxidation resistance up to ~1,600°F (870°C), making it well-suited for dry or near-dry machining of ferrous materials including alloy steels, tool steels, cast iron, and hardened steels. The drill features a standard 118° point geometry with a straight shank and two-flute helical design for effective chip evacuation; the black oxide appearance on the flutes is characteristic of the AlTiN coating over the carbide substrate. Packaged individually in a plastic clamshell case, this drill is designed for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual milling machines accepting a 15/32 in straight shank.
