Monster Tool 38XF42 9/32 in AlTiN Carbide Twist Drill Bit

The Monster Tool 38XF42 is a new solid carbide jobber-length twist drill bit with a 9/32 in (0.28125 in) cutting diameter, AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating, manufactured by GWS Tool Group under the Monster Tool brand. AlTiN coating provides high oxidation resistance up to approximately 1470°F (800°C), reduced friction, and extended tool life compared to uncoated or TiN-coated drills, making this bit well suited for drilling hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, and high-temperature alloys. The MPN 38XF42 follows GWS Monster Tool's XF-series convention for solid carbide, AlTiN-coated jobber drills with a 135° split-point tip geometry that self-centers and reduces thrust force. The round shank is compatible with standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting 9/32 in shanks, and the drill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and hand-held power drills with rigid setups at appropriate cutting parameters for carbide tooling.
