The Moon Cutter Co. STS3250 is a new, USA-made High Speed Steel staggered tooth slitting saw measuring 3 in outer diameter × 1/4 in width × 1 in arbor bore with 28 teeth. The staggered tooth geometry alternates cutting edges side-to-side, providing improved chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces compared to plain or side-chip milling cutters, making it well-suited for deep slotting, slitting, and parting operations on ferrous metals, non-ferrous alloys, and plastics on horizontal or vertical milling machines. The 1 in bore features a standard keyway drive slot (visible in photo) for positive torque transmission on standard 1 in milling arbors.
