Morse GH8781486 1-3/4" 5-Flute MT4 Shank Interchangeable Pilot Counterbore

The Morse GH8781486 is a new, 1-3/4" diameter, 5-flute interchangeable pilot counterbore with a #4 Morse Taper shank, manufactured from High Speed Steel (HSS) with a bright (uncoated) finish. The tool features 8-1/8" overall length and is designed to seat SHCS (socket head cap screws) and bolts by creating a flat-bottomed cylindrical recess in a pre-drilled hole; the interchangeable pilot system allows a single body to be used with multiple pilot diameters to accommodate different clearance hole sizes. The #4 Morse Taper shank mounts directly into MT4-compatible spindles or drill press quills, making it well-suited for heavy-duty counterboring operations in steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials on drill presses, mills, or lathes.
