The Noga MA61003 is a complete dial indicator holding system combining a rigid magnetic base with a double-jointed articulating arm and the FA1500 zinc die-cast fine adjustment unit, all new-in-box. The articulating arm uses Noga's single-knob locking mechanism to simultaneously lock both arm joints and the magnetic base ON/OFF switch, allowing fast repositioning and solid, vibration-resistant hold once locked. The FA1500 fine adjustment head accepts standard dovetail-mount dial indicators and provides precise micrometric last-step positioning after the arm is locked, eliminating the need to re-lock when dialing in a zero. The magnetic base plate provides strong holding force on ferrous machine tool surfaces such as lathe beds, surface plates, milling machine tables, and grinder chucks. The kit includes the magnetic base, dual-segment articulating arm, FA1500 fine adjustment unit with hardware, and a flat mounting plate, all as shown in the photos.
