Norton (Saint-Gobain) 34782 Vortex Rapid Blend Unified Wheels are 2 in. diameter x 1/4 in. thick quick-change (TR-style) surface conditioning discs made from an open-web aluminum oxide abrasive construction in a Medium grade, sold new as a 10-piece box. The three-dimensional non-woven abrasive matrix continuously exposes fresh abrasive throughout the wheel's life, delivering consistent scratch patterns for blending, deburring, and light surface prep on ferrous and non-ferrous metals without loading. The TR (Type R) quick-change mount is compatible with standard 1/4 in. shank mandrels for die grinders and straight grinders; maximum operating speed is 12,100 RPM as marked on the manufacturer's label. These wheels are manufactured in Mexico by Saint-Gobain Abrasives and carry Norton catalog number 666233/34782.
