This OSG 1662501517 (catalog list LIST16625) is a solid carbide internal thread mill with a 9.7 mm cutting diameter and a 33.87 mm length of cut, designated U12-INT for 12 threads per inch unified internal threads. The 33.87 mm cut length equals 16 pitches of a 12 TPI thread. It is a multi-flute helical-flute design with a straight cylindrical shank and an iridescent coated cutting section, and the box carries an RPRG value of 4.802 for CNC thread-milling programming. Thread mills cut internal threads by helical interpolation on CNC milling machines or machining centers. Made in Japan, and this unit is new.
