This is a new OSG double-end thread plug gauge for M3.5×0.6 metric threads to ISO tolerance class 6H, serial number 002046550-14. The GO member has a pitch diameter of 3.110 mm and the NO-GO member has a pitch diameter of 3.222 mm, both stamped directly on the blue anodized aluminum handle for quick identification in service. The gauge checks internal (nut-side) thread pitch diameter compliance per ISO 1502/ASME B1.16M standards: the GO member must pass fully to confirm the thread is not undersize, while the NO-GO member must not enter to confirm the thread is not oversize. OSG manufactures this gauge to Class X (high precision) tolerances consistent with their standard thread plug gauge line, with hardened and ground steel thread members suitable for production inspection of M3.5×0.6 tapped holes in machined components.
