The OTC 1182 is a new cone-type (lock-on jaw) puller set that converts between 2-jaw and 3-jaw configurations using three interchangeable jaw pairs of varying reach, all stored in a fitted blow-molded carrying case. The knurled-knob cone mechanism locks jaws securely onto the work surface without jaw slip, enabling pulling on bearings, gears, pulleys, and steering components where conventional pullers lose grip. Jaw spread ranges from 1 in to 4-1/2 in, jaw reach is 2-7/8 in, and jaw thickness is 0.25 in, covering a broad range of automotive and light truck applications. The set includes the puller body, three sets of interchangeable jaws (small, medium, and large reach), and a pilot block adapter (OTC part visible as ST 1162 in photos), all retained in custom foam in the hard plastic case.
