OTC 7588A 3 Piece Retaining Ring Cast Cam Bushing Puller

The OTC 7588A is a new cam bushing puller designed to remove both OEM press-fit cam bushings and multi-slot aftermarket cam bushings from ball joints on trucks and heavy-duty vehicles without disturbing the ball joint stud. The tool body features a square cast-iron housing with an internal swiveling forcing screw that self-centers on the ball joint stud as wrench torque is applied, eliminating lateral load and preventing stud damage during extraction. The kit includes two horseshoe-shaped clips — one narrower and one wider — that slip around the cam bushing to adapt the puller to different bushing styles; for OEM bushings the tool body is slipped directly under the bushing flange, while for multi-slot aftermarket bushings the appropriate horseshoe clip is selected after removing the snap ring and locking ring. Made in the USA with globally sourced components (as labeled on the box), the 7588A ships with a full illustrated parts list and operating instructions (OTC Form No. 100014) and meets ANSI Z87.1 and OSHA safety requirements when used as directed.
