The Parlec BT30-32EROS236 is a new, USA-made BT30 taper shank ER32 collet chuck manufactured by Parlec in Fairport, New York (date-coded 4/26/2021, serial TH4847062). The BT30 shank conforms to the JIS B 6339 standard 7:24 taper used on vertical and horizontal machining centers, and the ER32 collet pocket accepts the full ER32 collet range covering 0.054 in (1.0 mm) through 0.7812 in (20 mm) tool shank diameters. Gauge-line projection (A dimension) is 2.36 in (60 mm) as stamped on the body, and the chuck is dynamically balanced to G2.5 at 20,000 RPM for use on high-speed machining centers. Through-coolant capability is built in, allowing coolant delivery directly to the cutting tool via compatible ER32 sealed collets. The body carries Parlec's black oxide/nitride surface treatment and ships in the original red Parlec protective case.
