The Pentair Pentek GS-10pH (part number 25560343) is a new inline phosphate feeder cartridge that slowly dissolves food-grade hexametaphosphate crystals into the water supply to inhibit lime and scale buildup in pipes, water heaters, ice machines, and other water-using equipment. The cartridge measures 2 inches in diameter by 10 inches in length with push-in quick-connect fittings on both ends, and is directional — water flow direction is marked on the label and must be observed for proper dosing. Rated for 0.5 GPM (1.9 L/min) flow rate, 20–125 PSI operating pressure, and a temperature range of 40–100°F (4.4–37.8°C), with a recommended service life of 6 months. This cartridge is compatible with Pentek GS-series inline filter housings and standard 1/4-inch push-fit quick-connect inline filter systems used in commercial ice machines, coffee brewers, refrigerators, and point-of-use water treatment installations.
