Petrochem FOODSAFE GEAR FG-150 is a new, unused ISO 150 (SAE 85W) synthetic blend food grade gear oil supplied in a standard 55 US gallon (208 liter) closed-head steel drum, blend number KM00159589-55WH, manufactured by Petrochem Inc. of St. Charles, IL. The formulation meets USDA 1998 H1 guidelines and is NSF H1 registered (NSF Registration #144940), certifying it safe for incidental food contact — making it suitable for use in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care processing facilities wherever gearboxes, enclosed gear drives, or circulating gear systems require lubrication. The oil is classified as non-hazardous per 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) and the GHS system, carries no DOT transport restrictions, and is made in the USA.
