The full part number decodes as follows: L114 = System 114 grooving system (Horn's Mini groove insert series); 12 = 1.2 mm groove width; 10 = 10 mm usable cutting depth; 00 = straight cutting edge (0° lead angle); TN35 = Horn's TN35 uncoated, ultra-fine grain carbide substrate optimized for non-ferrous materials including aluminum, copper alloys, brass, and plastics where a razor-sharp edge and built-up-edge resistance are paramount.
