The Posi Lock PT206 is a 2-jaw mechanical gear and bearing puller manufactured by Hydraulic Technologies USA LLC in Rockford, IL, sold new in original manufacturer packaging (box label part number 4GB27, revision 1000752Rev4). The puller features a conical spreading frame with three pivoting jaws that self-center on the workpiece, a heavy-duty acme-threaded forcing screw with a cross-bar T-handle for manual torque application, and a hardened pilot tip that seats against the shaft end to protect the mating surface during extraction. The design is suited for removing gears, pulleys, sprockets, and anti-friction bearings from shafts in maintenance and repair applications where the jaw tips can engage either the face or the back side of the component being removed. All structural components are cast and fabricated steel with a black hammer-tone powder coat finish on the frame.
