This Watts Powers Hydroguard XP LFMM431-1 is a 3/4 in lead free master mixing (tempering) valve from the LFMM430 series, a temperature-actuated mixing valve designed for hot water distribution systems in compliance with ASSE 1017. The bronze/brass valve body has a 3/4 in female inlet and outlet, and the kit includes two angled check stop union fittings with male threaded tailpieces and female ports marked LF, plus the Powers technical instructions. The wetted surfaces contain less than 0.25% lead by weight, and the unit is assembled in the USA; the instructions note that master tempering valves cannot replace point-of-use ASSE 1016, 1069 or 1070 devices at fixtures and are not for anti-scald or anti-chill service. This item is new in the original shipping carton with the inner boxes and paperwork shown.
