The Precision by Dormer Pramet C115COMBSET is a 115-piece HSS (High Speed Steel) jobber-length drill set in steam-tempered (black oxide) finish, manufactured in Brazil under Dormer Pramet's Precision brand line, EDP 099982. The set is a combination index covering all three standard US drill series in a single metal case: wire gauge sizes #1 through #60, letter sizes A through Z, and fractional inch sizes 1/16" through 1/2" in 1/64" increments, with decimal equivalents labeled on the aluminum index strips. Steam tempering provides a controlled oxide layer that improves lubricity and corrosion resistance compared to bright finish HSS, suitable for drilling mild steel, aluminum, brass, cast iron, and plastics in standard drill presses and hand-held electric drills with Jacobs-style keyed or keyless chucks. This set is new — other condition, with the original outer carton showing shelf wear but the drill index and contents intact.
