The ProMax US007006 is a new, USA-made 4-flute solid carbide corner-radius end mill with a 1/8 in cutting diameter, 1/8 in shank diameter, 1/2 in length of cut, and 2-1/2 in overall length, featuring a 0.030 in corner radius. It is coated with ProMax's proprietary PowerLayer multi-layer PVD coating, which delivers elevated heat and wear resistance for extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous machining applications. The 4-flute geometry provides a superior surface finish and increased material removal rates in finishing and semi-finishing passes; the 0.030 in corner radius reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge, extending tool life in hardened steels, stainless steels, and aerospace alloys. Compatible with standard 1/8 in ER or collet-style toolholders.
