Proto J6106A 7-36 in-lb Adjustable Torque Screwdriver

The Proto J6106A is a new, adjustable cam-over torque screwdriver with a torque range of 7–36 in-lb, as confirmed by the case label and the dual-scale (in-lb / N·cm) graduation markings visible on the adjustment collar. The anodized aluminum body features longitudinal fluting for grip, and the cam-over mechanism automatically releases and slips at the preset torque value to prevent overtightening — a critical feature in precision assembly, electronics, and aerospace fastening applications. The tool accepts a 1/4 in hex bit (the black hex bit tip is visible in the photos) and ships in the original Proto molded plastic storage case with foam insert. Proto tools are manufactured to ASME B107 torque tool standards and are commonly used in calibration-critical environments where torque traceability is required.
