The Red Wolf 2539 is a new pair of aluminized welding and heat protection gloves featuring a dual-material construction: the dorsal (back-of-hand) and palm side are covered with an aluminized fabric facing that reflects radiant heat, while the palm and inner surfaces are constructed from split cowhide leather for abrasion resistance and grip. An aluminized patch is applied to the palm/thumb area on the leather side, providing supplemental radiant heat reflection at the highest-contact zone during torch or furnace work. The gauntlet-style cuff extends well past the wrist and transitions from leather to a plain leather cuff section at the wrist, with a sewn black binding at the opening edge. These gloves are designed for foundry work, furnace charging, molten metal handling, and high-radiant-heat welding environments where both contact heat resistance and radiant heat reflection are required.
