The Reed Instruments R9060 is a new 5-step steel calibration block designed for calibrating ultrasonic thickness gauges, providing five precision reference standards in a single monolithic steel block. Step thicknesses are 0.100 in (2.54 mm), 0.200 in (5.08 mm), 0.300 in (7.62 mm), 0.400 in (10.16 mm), and 0.500 in (12.70 mm), with each step value laser-engraved in both imperial (inch) and metric (mm) units directly on the block face for unambiguous reference in the field. The block is machined from steel and features a black-oxide finish on the step faces to aid transducer coupling visibility; it ships in a fitted foam-lined hard carrying case for protected storage and transport.
