This Regal Cutting Tools 0805080024 is a new M22 x 1.5 metric fine-pitch hand tap made of high speed steel (HSS) with a 6H thread class limit and a D6 pitch diameter limit. It has 4 flutes and a bottoming chamfer for threading blind holes close to the bottom of the hole, and measures 6 in overall length. The ground thread form and squared shank are visible in the photos, and the tap is marked 6H HSG D6 and USA. It is suited to hand or machine tapping of M22 x 1.5 internal threads in the workpiece materials appropriate for an uncoated HSS general-purpose tap.
