Reiff & Nestor 7/16-14 4FL H3 Plug 8in OAL HSS Pulley Tap

This is a new Reiff & Nestor 7/16-14 UNC plug-style pulley tap with a 4-flute straight-flute design, H3 pitch diameter tolerance, and an extended 8-inch overall length — manufactured in the USA. The long shank is specifically engineered to reach through pulleys, sheaves, and other deep-bore workpieces where standard-length taps cannot reach, with the reduced-diameter shank providing clearance through the bore ahead of the threaded section. The plug chamfer (3–5 threads of taper) allows the tap to be used in through holes and most blind applications where adequate clearance exists, and the 4-flute geometry provides strong chip control in general-purpose materials including steel, cast iron, and aluminum. The H3 tolerance class produces a thread fit suitable for standard 2B thread class requirements, compatible with conventional tap wrenches or machine holders accepting the square-drive shank. Packaged in the original Reiff & Nestor orange plastic tube.
