Renishaw A-1371-0270-01 TP20 Standard Force Module CMM Probe

The Renishaw A-1371-0270-01 is a new TP20 Standard Force (STD Force) interchangeable module kit for the Renishaw TP20 non-contact, kinematic touch-trigger CMM probe family; the module is the sensing element that houses the stylus mount and spring mechanism, and swaps tool-free into the TP20 body via the bayonet-style autojoint without removing the probe from the CMM head. The standard-force spring configuration applies 8 g stylus force and is rated for use with styli up to 10 mm in length (as confirmed on the included Renishaw factory test certificate, serial no. C55H51), delivering a measured 2σ max mean repeatability of 0.10 µm against a specified limit of 0.35 µm — traceable to national standards. The module interfaces with the TP20 body through the three-point kinematic seat and three gold-plated electrical contacts visible on the rear face, and accepts any M2 stylus thread; it is compatible with all TP20 probe bodies and is suited for CMMs running Renishaw UCC, MODUS, or third-party controllers that support the TP20 protocol.
