The Ridgid 33057 is a new, USA-made set of 4 high-speed steel (HSS) pipe threading dies for the Ridgid 1224 threading machine, designed to cut 2-1/2" through 4" NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads on stainless steel pipe. The dies are individually numbered 1–4 for correct sequential installation in the die head and are stamped "STAINLESS" and "INSERT TO LINE," indicating they are specifically formulated for the increased hardness and work-hardening properties of stainless steel — not interchangeable with standard HS dies for carbon steel. Ridgid Cat. No. 33057 is confirmed on the original box label (UPC 0 95691 33057 4), and the dies fit the Ridgid 1224 and compatible die heads that accept the 2-1/2"–4" NPT die set. NPT thread form cuts an 11-1/2 TPI taper of 1°47' per ANSI/ASME B1.20.1, covering pipe sizes 2-1/2 in, 3 in, 3-1/2 in, and 4 in.
