The RIDGID 34955 is a new 2S Spiral Pipe Reamer designed to remove burrs from the inside of cut pipe ends, covering a pipe size range of 1/4" to 2" (6–50 mm) in a single tool. The reamer features a hardened spiral-fluted conical cutting head with multiple cutting edges that engage progressively as the tool is twisted into the pipe bore, producing a clean, burr-free interior edge essential for leak-free threaded or soldered joints. The red cast-iron T-handle body incorporates a ratcheting mechanism, visible as the knurled adjustment knob on the side, allowing operation in confined spaces where a full rotation is not possible. The reamer accepts the included separate pipe handle extension (shown in photos) for additional leverage on larger pipe sizes. Made in the USA by Ridge Tool Co., Elyria, Ohio, this tool is compatible with RIDGID pipe threading and cutting workstations and is used by plumbers and pipefitters working with steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and plastic pipe.
