The RIDGID 36620 Model 141 is a new, USA-made receding geared threader designed to cut NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads on pipe ranging from 2-1/2 in to 4 in (62–100 mm) in a single pass without resetting the dies. The Model 141 features a jam-proof, five-die head with numbered die segments (1–5) that automatically recede upon thread completion, eliminating the need to reverse the machine to remove the threader — a critical productivity advantage for large-diameter pipe work. The geared drive mechanism accepts a 3/4 in square drive (as confirmed by the included RIDGID-marked 3/4 in L-wrench) and is compatible with RIDGID 141/161-series threading machines and any drive source with a matching square spindle. The tool cuts 8 threads per inch (TPI) NPT as stamped on the data plate visible in the photos, and the die head casting is marked "MADE IN USA." Included in the box are the threader, the 3/4 in RIDGID adjustment wrench, and the official Model 141/161 instruction sheet; catalog number 36620 and UPC 095691366207 are confirmed on the original RIDGID/Emerson packaging.
