Ridgid 48235 1/2-13 UNC High Speed Universal Bolt Thread Chaser Dies 4-Pk

This is a new, factory-sealed set of four (4) Ridgid Cat. No. 48235 High Speed Steel Universal Bolt Dies ground to cut 1/2-13 UNC (Unified National Coarse) right-hand external threads. The dies are marked "Universal Bolt HS" and are manufactured by Ridge Tool Co. in Elyria, Ohio from high-speed steel, providing extended tool life and the ability to thread at higher RPM compared to standard carbon-steel dies. These Universal Bolt Dies are designed to fit Ridgid die heads including the 504A, 711, 811A, 815A, 816, 817, and 911 models, and the set index line must be aligned to the "Bolt" line on the die head size bar per Ridgid's installation instructions printed on the package. Each chaser features the stepped tang/slot profile visible in the photos for positive engagement and location in the die head, and the set of four chasers works together to produce a complete 60° UNC thread form on bolts and threaded rod.
