The Rotor Clip HO-206ST PD is a heavy-duty internal (housing) retaining ring manufactured from carbon spring steel with a phosphate and oil (PD) finish, supplied in a factory pack of 10 (MB10). The HO series designates a basic internal retaining ring per ANSI B27.7 design standards, with "206" encoding the groove housing bore of 2-1/16 in (2.062 in); "ST" confirms the carbon spring steel material. The phosphate-and-oil (PD) coating provides moderate corrosion resistance and a lubricity surface, and the rings are installed using standard internal (internal-bore) snap ring pliers engaging the two lug holes at the open ends. This new, USA-made part seats in a groove machined inside a 2.062 in bore to axially retain shafts, bearings, gears, or other components against longitudinal movement in housings, cylinders, and gear assemblies.
