The United Abrasives-SAIT 22235 'The Ultimate Cut' is a new Type 1 flat cut-off wheel measuring 5 in x 0.045 in x 7/8 in arbor, rated at 12,200 max RPM and manufactured in the USA. The wheel is constructed with aluminum oxide abrasive at 36 grit in a reinforced resin bond, engineered for use on stainless steel (Inox), carbon steel, and aluminum — making it a true multi-material thin-kerf wheel suited for angle grinders accepting a 7/8 in arbor. At 0.045 in (approximately 1.1 mm) thickness, this ultra-thin profile minimizes material loss and heat generation during cut-through operations on pipe, tube, sheet, and structural stock.
