This is a new Sandvik Coromant CoroDrill 860 solid carbide drill, part number 860.1-1310-039A1-NM H10F, Material ID 6253857. The CoroDrill 860 is a screw-machine-length (stub), 3xD flute-length drill with a 130° point angle, through-coolant capability via internal coolant channels, and a 14mm cylindrical shank (CZCms Ø14) with a 13.1mm cutting diameter (DC) and 41mm flute length (LU). The grade H10F is a fine-grain uncoated (NM = no coating) tungsten carbide substrate optimized for non-ferrous materials including aluminum alloys, copper alloys, and plastics, where a TiAlN or TiN coating would cause built-up edge. The drill accepts standard cylindrical toolholders and collet chucks with a 14mm bore; the stepped-down cutting diameter of 13.1mm (33/64 in) produces near-net holes in non-ferrous workpieces at high cutting speeds.
