This is a new, unused Sandvik Coromant CoroDrill 860 solid carbide drill, part number 860-1-1400-042A1-NM-H10F, with a 14.00 mm cutting diameter as confirmed by the DC = 14.00 mm label visible on the packaging. The 860 series is a general-purpose solid carbide drill designed for steel, stainless steel, and cast iron at high feeds; the NM designation indicates no internal coolant channels (external coolant or dry), and the H10F suffix denotes the carbide substrate grade — a fine-grain uncoated or lightly treated carbide — while the dark appearance of the flutes in the photos is consistent with a surface treatment or coating applied to the body.
