The Sandvik Coromant 870-2500-25L32-3 is a new CoroDrill 870 series exchangeable-tip drill body designed for 25 mm nominal cutting diameter (DCN 25 mm) with a maximum cutting diameter (DCX) of 25.99 mm, a Ø32 mm cylindrical shank (CZCms Ø32), and a 3×D depth-of-cut ratio. The drill body accepts 870-25 series CoroDrill 870 exchangeable carbide drill heads, secured via a central clamping screw (torque 2.0 Nm per label markings), and is compatible with the 5513 031-16 screw (2.0 Nm) and the 5680 084-21 10IP 25 mm tip, both included per the photos. Internal through-coolant channels deliver coolant directly to the cutting zone, and the body features a black-oxidized steel construction with two helical flutes and a 32 mm straight shank for use in standard ER, hydraulic, or shrink-fit toolholders with a 32 mm bore. This drill body is manufactured in Sweden, carries Sandvik Material ID 6239465, and is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials at high feed rates in CNC turning centers and machining centers.
