This is a factory-new box of 10 Sandvik Coromant CCMT 06 02 04-UR 4315 carbide turning inserts for the CoroTurn 107 toolholder system, designed for internal and external turning of steel (ISO P) and cast iron (ISO K). The ISO designation decodes as: C = 80° diamond shape, C = 7° clearance angle, M = medium tolerance class, T = with hole and countersink (single-sided), 06 = 6.35 mm (1/4 in) inscribed circle, 02 = 2.38 mm thickness, 04 = 0.4 mm nose radius, UR = universal finishing chipbreaker geometry. Grade 4315 is a CVD-coated cemented carbide (Ti(C,N)/Al₂O₃ multilayer coating visible as the gold/black dual-tone on the flank/rake faces) targeting steel finishing at cutting speeds of 345 m/min (1150 sfm) for P-class steels up to 175 HB, and 265 m/min (860 sfm) for K-class cast irons up to 245 HB per the package label.
