This is a new, factory-sealed 10-piece tray of Sandvik Coromant CNMG 190608-MR 235 carbide turning inserts from the T-Max P product line, grade 235, which is a CVD-coated cemented carbide grade with a gold-colored TiN outer layer designed primarily for medium to rough turning of steel (ISO P) and stainless steel (ISO M). The CNMG 190608 geometry specifies an 80° diamond (rhombic) shape, 0° clearance angle, medium tolerance class M, with a double-sided chipbreaker (G-type hole), 19.05 mm inscribed circle, 6.35 mm thickness, and a 0.8 mm nose radius; the MR chipbreaker is optimized for medium roughing cuts with a wavy chip-control geometry visible on the rake face. Per the cutting data label on the package, recommended parameters for steel (P2.1.Z.AN, 175 HB) are ap 6 mm (0.059–0.472 in), fn 0.5 mm/r (0.014–0.022 in/r), and Vc 95 m/min (315 sfm); for softer steel (M1.0.Z.AQ, 200 HB) ap 4 mm, fn 0.35 mm/r, Vc 110 m/min (380 sfm). These inserts are compatible with Sandvik Coromant T-Max P toolholders accepting CNMG 19 inserts, including the PCLNR/L and DCLNR/L holder families, and are manufactured in India per the package label (MtrlID 5725418, Batch 3P10534515).
