Sandvik DNMG 150604-PF 4315 CVD Carbide Turning Insert (10pc)

This is a new, factory-sealed box of 10 Sandvik Coromant DNMG 150604-PF 4315 carbide turning inserts from the T-Max P product line, designed for external turning operations on steel (ISO P) and cast iron (ISO K) workpieces. The 4315 grade is a CVD-coated cemented carbide featuring a multi-layer TiCN/Al2O3 coating visible as the gold/bronze top layer with a black post-treatment, delivering excellent wear resistance and toughness for finishing to medium turning applications. The PF chipbreaker geometry is optimized for light finishing cuts with low feed rates (fn 0.006–0.012 in/r) and shallow depths of cut (ap 0.016–0.059 in), producing reliable chip control on steel at cutting speeds up to 1250 sfm and on cast iron up to 910 sfm per the label data. The DNMG 150604 insert format (55° diamond, 15 mm IC, 06 thickness, 0.4 mm nose radius, negative rake, single-sided with hole) is compatible with standard DNMG toolholders in the Sandvik T-Max P and equivalent systems.
