This is a new Sandvik Coromant E08R-SCLCL 2 CoroTurn 107 indexable boring bar, a solid steel screw-clamp internal turning toolholder designed for use with CCMT 06 02-series inserts (CC-style, 80° rhombic). Decoding the designation: E = boring bar style with cylindrical shank, 08 = 8 mm shank diameter, R = right-hand cutting, S = screw clamping method, CL = CCMT insert shape/seat, CL = 95° lead angle geometry, 2 = 2× diameter minimum bore to length ratio indicator. The bar is made in India per the original Sandvik Coromant label (Mtrl ID 5732372, batch 2D10729349) and is compatible with the CoroTurn 107 system for small-hole internal turning, profiling, and light finishing operations in bores as small as approximately 10 mm. The cylindrical shank is suited for standard ER or precision collet chuck systems accommodating 8 mm shanks.
