The Sandvik Coromant L571.31C-604043-16 is a new, indexable T-Max P turning head designed for the Coromant Capto modular tooling system (CZCms interface, Ø60 mm coupling diameter). It accepts CNMG 1606 (CNMG 432) double-sided negative turning inserts and features a 95° lead angle (KAPR 95°), making it suited for longitudinal turning and facing operations with a 5° back-clearance approach geometry. The head body is manufactured from hardened alloy steel with a black oxide/nitride surface treatment for corrosion resistance and is secured to the Capto shank via the precision serrated (Curvic) face-contact coupling, providing high rigidity and repeat positioning accuracy. Internal coolant capability is present via the through-body coolant port visible in the photos, allowing directed coolant delivery to the cutting zone. Barcode 10358305 and batch codes 4D10626486 / 5734605 are visible on the original Sandvik packaging label; the unit is supplied new in its original plastic canister.
