The Sandvik Coromant MACL 3150-R20 1025 is a new carbide cut-off (parting) insert from the CoroCut XS system, designed for small-part machining and bar work on Swiss-type lathes and small CNC turning centers. The MPN decodes as follows: MAC = CoroCut XS insert style/geometry (small-part cut-off), L = left-hand orientation, 3 = 3 mm cutting width, 150 = 15.0 mm maximum cutting depth (1.50 mm per digit), R20 = 0.20 mm nose radius, grade 1025.
